Pastor, Head of Staff

Daniel Triller

Daniel grew up in the Seattle area and attended University Presbyterian Church and for as long as he can remember.

During a spring break mission trip to Mexico, he had an epiphany that what he was building his life on (sports, academics, achievements) wasn’t working for him and he needed something more solid and true to build his life on. This search for a solid foundation followed him to college where he began to see how Jesus was offering him a kind of hope, joy, and purpose in his life that the world simply could not offer, and it was during this time that Daniel accepted Him as his Lord and Savior.

After college, while contemplating a career in public education, Daniel did a pastoral internship with Earl Palmer, Pastor of University Presbyterian Church in Seattle. During this internship Pastor Palmer helped him see the dynamic relationship between teaching and pastoring. This experience led Daniel to attend Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary where he received his Master of Divinity in 2013.

At the completion of Seminary, Daniel returned to Seattle and joined the team at Bellevue Presbyterian Church and it was during this time he met and married his wife, Callie. In 2018, Daniel and Callie felt the Lord leading them to First Presbyterian Church in Dillon, Montana.

Daniel and Callie have two sons, Noah and Caleb who have allowed Daniel to experience a “redemptive turn” in his life, where after his own father passed away when he was 9, he is now the father of two sons.
